En 1990, John Williams a créé l’album compilation John Williams Conducts John Williams – The Star Wars Trilogy, qui comprend 13 de ses titres les plus mémorables de la trilogie originale Star Wars. 

Entièrement interprété par l’Orchestre symphonique Skywalker, il présente le célèbre « Main Theme » et « Salle du Trône / Finale » de l’Épisode IV : Un Nouvel Espoir, « La Marche Impériale » de l’Épisode V :L’Empire contre-attaque, et « Luke et Leia ».

La trilogie Star Wars est disponible en exclusivité « May The 4th Be With You » de 1000 exemplaires numérotés individuellement sur vinyle moitié vert et moitié blanc. Ce coffret 2LP comprend un insert avec des notes de pochette du créateur de la franchise Star Wars, George Lucas.
