En avril 2024, la série Fallout a figuré cinq fois dans le Top TV Songs de Billboard, dont la chanson I Don’t Want to Set the World on Fire des Ink Spots à la 1ère place.

La série est basée sur l'univers du jeu vidéo mais propose une histoire originale. Le producteur exécutif Todd Howard, également directeur des jeux Fallout, a préféré éviter une adaptation directe des jeux.
